My “Why” for board service:

“My ‘why’ for board service is grounded in the conviction that equitable access to civil legal aid is essential to community well‑being and democratic participation. Having witnessed the structural barriers that disproportionately affect low‑income, rural, and marginalized residents, I view CDCVAS as a vital institution—one that transforms individual lives while strengthening the social fabric of Central Washington’s Chelan and Douglas counties. Through board service, I aim to contribute my expertise in leadership, strategy, innovation, and organizational learning to support sustainable growth, deepen community partnerships, and help ensure that every resident has a fair and equitable opportunity to navigate the civil legal system with dignity.”
