Volunteer

Volunteer attorneys change lives and give hope to those facing intimidating legal problems.  You can help someone hold their child again, keep their home, find relief from creditors, or even safety from their abuser.

CDCVAS is also seeking volunteer interpreters to assist our attorneys during legal clinics. Words matter and understanding legal advice and feeling heard are essential.

Our Mission:

The mission of Chelan Douglas County Volunteer Attorney Services is to bridge the justice gap by facilitating high-quality, equitable, and free civil legal services to people in Chelan and Douglas counties experiencing poverty.

Achieving Our Mission:

CDCVAS accomplishes this mission by enlisting the help of lawyers throughout Chelan and Douglas Counties who are willing to volunteer their time on a pro bono basis. Volunteer and contract attorneys assist clients who have been screened and meet CLEAR/CDCVAS eligibility standards.

Who’s Eligible?
