Mireya Sanchez is the Co-Director of Chelan-Douglas County Volunteer Attorney Services, where she helps guide daily operations and foster a collaborative, mission-driven workplace. Joining VAS in September 2025, she brings a thoughtful, people-centered approach to leadership—trusting her team’s strengths, maintaining open communication, and ensuring staff have the support they need to thrive. Mireya’s commitment to building effective systems and nurturing strong relationships reflects her belief that compassionate, well-organized work behind the scenes creates lasting impact for the clients and communities VAS serves.
In April 2026, we adopted a Co-Directorship model grounded in a simple truth: this work is bigger than any one person. It requires shared leadership, diverse perspectives, and a commitment to lifting up those most impacted to help lead the way forward.
