Mia joined CDCVAS in September of 2024, bringing a passion for justice and a commitment to ensuring everyone has equal access to legal support. Working as an AmeriCorps Legal Navigator, Mia assists clients in navigating the justice system under the guidance of her mentor, Emily. This experience is shaping her future aspirations in law, where she aims to advocate for fairness and equity. Mia believes that justice must be accessible to everyone, regardless of their circumstances, and she’s honored to be spending her year of service with the CDCVAS team.
