Volunteer Attorney of the Month

Ty Duhamel of Columbia Legal Services donated over 12 hours assisting 3 families facing eviction.  As a Housing Justice Project Volunteer, Ty went above and beyond to negotiate move out dates in all 3 cases.  His extra effort offered the tenants and their families a little more time to find a new home.

Ryan Feeney

September 2015 & May 2018

Volunteer Attorney of the Month

 

2015: Ryan Feeney of Feeney Law generously donated 30 hours of pro bono legal services, assisting VAS clients with family law and housing matters.

2018: Ryan Feeney completed a family law case that he has been working on for 2.5 years.  He donated over 200 pro bono hours and gave his VAS client a new lease at life! In addition to this case, Ryan continues to be a regular volunteer with the Housing Justice Project, protecting tenants from unlawful evictions.

Larry Tobiska, Attorney Emeritus, maintains his license while retired so that he can assist low-income clients who need legal help.  Larry is a regular volunteer and provided 5 hours of pro bono legal advice and services.
